We can easily assume that April is going to be a great month for Hollywood viewers as several exciting movies are set to release. There are a total of four movies that will hit a theater near you on April 14. These films are being hugely promoted to attract more fans, and MovieTickets is selling the tickets through its official website.
1 - ‘Fast and Furious 8’
“Fast And Furious 8” is one of the most anticipated films of the month. It is scheduled to be released on April 14. The story is about Dom (Vin Diesel) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), who are on their honeymoon but observe strange things during this trip.
Director F. Gary Gary has joined hands with One Race Films and Perfect World Pictures for this project. Vin Diesel, Neal Moritz, and Michael Fottrell are serving as co-producers. Promos and posters of the film are already out, creating excitement among fans. In a recently released trailer, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Tey (Ludacris), and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) look excited.
2 - ‘The Handmaiden’
“The Handmaiden” is one of the most anticipated films. This erotic psychological thriller gets a release date of April 14. It is directed by Park Chan-wook, and the cast includes Kim Min-Hee, Kim Tae-Ri, Ha Jung-Woo and Cho Jin-Woong. The story is inspired from a novel by Sarah Waters, with the setting changed from Victorian era to Japanese environment.
The movie competed for the Palme d'Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. In the United States, the distribution will be handled by Amazon Studios and Magnolia Pictures.
3 - ‘Mulholland Drive’
After a car accident, a woman tries to begin her routine life. She spends most of her time in Los Angeles, but things change when she finds clues of the accident in a remote town.
The story of “Mulholland Drive” sounds interesting, and fans are excited to know more about the lady whose life changed after a road accident. The movie is produced by David Lynch, and its cast includes Naomi Watts, Laura Harring, and Justin Theroux. The 4K digital transfer of the film was released last year in the UK, but it’s not the same version that will hit the theaters in the US.

4 - ‘The Sense of an Ending’
“The Sense of an Ending” gets a release date of April 14. It is one of the most anticipated movies of the month. This British-American drama is directed by Ritesh Batra, and written by Nick Payne. The story is inspired by a novel of the same name by Julian Barnes. The film features Jim Broadbent, Charlotte Rampling, Harriet Walter, Emily Mortimer, and Michelle Dockery. Its first footage was released at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on January 2. It is a story of a divorcee who receives a letter that unlocks memories of his past.
