There have been numerous leaks and speculations about Huawei’s Mate 10 in the past couple of weeks. Another potential leak has just surfaced online. The image allegedly shows off the Front Panel of speculated Mate 10 smartphone. Interestingly, there have been many predictions about the Mate 10 Pro that have been made so far. At the same time, less information about the smartphone has been made public. The company has started sending out media invites for an event on October 16. According to a report by Android Headlines, Huawei might take this opportunity to unveil their 2017 high-end smartphone.

The phone will also be available in the US.

The leaked images of the phone

The leaked image reveals that the handset might feature thicker bezels in comparison to its higher variant – Mate 10 “Pro.” The picture is slightly shabby and cut from the edges, therefore; one cannot possibly get a full view of the handset-in-question. The upper portion is, however, properly highlighted in the photo.

It showcases multiple cut-outs. The upper left-hand side is believed to be a spacing made for a front camera. This cut-out also includes an earpiece and a proximity sensor. There is another cut out right above the display. A prominent judgment cannot be made for sure what exactly this cut out is meant for.

According to a report by The Verge, Huawei is apparently going to launch not two – but four new variants of its 10 series.

It is possible that these variants might simply differ in terms of storage sizes. There are chances that they might all pack different designs. The list is rumored to include – Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Porsche Edition. Out of these, the Mate 10 Porsche Edition will cost the most. This is primarily due to its design aesthetics. At the same time, Mate 10 will fall in the high-end category.

Specifications details

The handset is rumored to come packed with a 5.9-inch QHD Plus display with 2,880 x 1,440 pixels resolution. On the storage front, the smartphone may offer 6GB of RAM. There are also chances that it might come with an 8GB RAM. The handset will be powered by Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor.
