Bose officially unveiled its first wireless in-ear earphones, SoundSport Free. The device is sweat and weather resistant and weighs just 0.35 ounces. The wireless in-ear earphones will be up for grabs next month and will have a $250 price tag.

Director of Bose on-the-go products, Brian Maguire, stated that the SoundSport Free could be the device that individuals have always desired in a sports headset. The device is in its simplest form with two rugged wireless in-ear earphones that sounds amazing.

Magnetic charging case

Although the Bose SoundSport Free earphones are expensive when compared to the $159 Apple AirPods, Bose’s latest earphones are packed with features that might entice some individuals to purchase it over Apple’s device.

The battery life of the SoundSport Free earphones can last up to five hours. In terms of charging, users will just place the SoundSport Free earpieces inside the device’s magnetic charging case.

The wireless in-ear earphones’ charging case will be able to add ten hours of battery life. However, according to MacRumors, even though the device’s five-hour battery life rivals the AirPods, the charging case of Apple’s device can offer an additional 24 hours of battery life. In spite of that, the new antennae system of Bose’s SoundSport Free wireless in-ear earphones maintains a reliable connection between each earphone and the user’s smartphone they’re linked to.

QC35 II wireless headphones

Aside from unveiling its SoundSport Free wireless earphones, the company also revealed its latest QC35 II wireless headphones, which is compatible with Google Assistant.

Google and Bose worked together to integrate the search engine giant’s digital assistant and QC35 II wireless headphones.

The headphone manufacturer claimed that the QC35 II will arrive with its predecessor’s audio performance as well as a noise cancellation feature. Nonetheless, the new device will provide a new method to control the noise cancellation feature via Bose Connect app.

The Bose QC35 II will be available in two color options - silver and black. Product Manager of Google Assistant, Tomer Amarillio, made it known through his blog post that the new wireless headphones will be up for grabs in the United States, U.K., France, Canada, Germany, and Australia. The QC35 II wireless headphones will be available at Bose’s official website, authorized Bose dealers, and retail outlets. The device will have a $350 price tag, Fortune reported.
