On Friday, some of the alleged specs of Samsung’s much awaited Galaxy Note 8 seemed to be confirmed by the popular benchmarking platform, Geekbench. The next day, another smartphone with a model number that’s also associated with the upcoming mobile device showed up.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with Exynos processor was first spotted on Geekbench. The benchmark listing pertained to the Galaxy Note 8 with the model number SM-N950F, and it revealed some the smartphone’s potential key specs, such as the Exynos 8895 processor and 6GB of RAM. This particular product is expected to roll out in various territories in Europe as well as other international markets.

However, the specs included in the benchmark results seem to indicate that the Galaxy Note 8 would run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

On Saturday, another Samsung product with the model SM-N950U surfaced on Geekbench, Trusted Reviews reported. This time, the device is believed to be the Galaxy Note 8 variant with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 system on chip (SoC). The Snapdragon 835-equipped phone is expected to be available in the United States. Just like the first listing, this smartphone also features a 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

According to Forbes, the smartphone scored 1815 on the single core test while it scored 6066 in the multi-core. The results of the smartphone in the core tests are actually lower compared to the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

Specs of the phablet

However, other specs and features expected from the phablet are a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with Infinity Display, a 12MP rear dual camera setup, a 3300mAh battery, S-Pen an IP68 certification. The South Korean tech giant might offer two variants for the forthcoming handset in terms of internal storage, a 64GB and a 128GB.

As for Note 8’s dimensions, the new mobile device could be vertically longer compared to the S8 Plus.

The smartphone is also expected to feature a screen embedded fingerprint scanner, Bixby AI assistant, USB-C connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack, fast charging and wireless charging support. The handset will be available in four color options - Maple Gold, Deep Sea Blue, Midnight Black and Orchid Gray.
