Smartphone’s powerful processor

According to Android Headlines, the new leak of the Nokia 8, provided by Slash Leaks, showed that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip (SoC) and the Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone will sport a QHD display panel with 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution, protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Expected storage size of the device

However, there was no information provided regarding the storage size of the device. But, the flagship Android smartphone is anticipated to feature a 64GB of internal storage, which could be expandable by up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

The Finnish tech company did not confirm the screen size yet, but the display of the handset is listed with a pixel density of 559ppi.

Gadgets 360 reported that this could indicate that the mobile device might come along with a 5.2 or 5.3-inch display.

On the software side, the upcoming smartphone is expected to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The software version is presumed to run on the smartphone straight out of the box, which could indicate the tech company is committed to bringing stock Android to its mobile device.
