Apple completes 10 years with its iPhone flagship this year and to mark this special occasion, the Cupertino technology giant is expected to introduce its iPhone 8 devices with the best of features. The company, after wrapping up its WWDC, 2017 event has entirely focused on its speculated iPhone 8 flagship device. However, little did we know that the company is also focused on bringing about a successor to last year’s Iphone Se. If reports are believed to be true then Apple is planning on launching the successor to its iPhone SE device sometime towards the end of August.
Needless to say, Apple hasn’t confirmed the news as yet. However, insiders that claim to be close to the matter suggest that the company might be planning the rumored release.
Rumors regarding iPhone 8
According to a report published by Gizbot, Apple is currently focused on introducing both, its iPhone 8 flagship device as well as the successor to its iPhone SE smartphone. If this turns out to be true, then the Cupertino technology giant will end up introducing four new iPhone devices this year namely, iPhone 8, iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus and the successor to iPhone SE. Another media publication that goes by the name of iGeneration also indicated the same thing. They stated that the upcoming smartphone will probably be launched towards the end of August.
In order to unveil the upcoming devices, Apple is apparently planning on holding two separate events.
The first one will solely be dedicated to the unveiling of its iPhone 8, whereas the second one is where the company will be seen introducing the iPhone SE successor. However, the latter is expected to be introduced before the launch of iPhone 8.
Several reports in the recent past have been indicating that the smartphone’s launch might be delayed altogether due to unspecified technical issues. It has been suggested that the company might introduce the device at the beginning or end of October.
A pocket friendly Apple device
As far as the pricing details for the upcoming iPhone SE smartphone are concerned, the device will probably be priced around 399 Euros.
The iPhone 8 on the other hand, is expected to be priced at around $1,000. Once again, this is information that the company has not yet confirmed so it remains to be seen what exactly turns out to be true in Apple’s case. Both the devices will however, be shipped with the iOS 11 software operating system.
