Microsoft Surface Book 2 is a device every tech lover is waiting for. The device is said to be launching by the end of the year but nothing is confirmed yet by the company. The Surface Book 2 will go head-to-head with Apple's MacBook Pro series in the high-end laptop market. Both devices are said to be flagship killers in terms of specs and features.

Powered by 4K display

Tech Radar suggests that the upcoming Microsoft flagship will come up with top-notch specs like 4K Display. The new Surface Book is supposed to include a 13.5-inch display with an initial price $1000 as the design is expected to come with a change.

Surface Book 2 will have a screen resolution 3840 x 2160 pixel to support 4K videos. 4K display is said to be the main feature of the laptop. There are also rumors stating that the upcoming laptop can support virtual reality, even though the claim is not credible. So far, none of the Surface devices have used the 16:9 aspect ratio that is necessary for a true 4K UHD.

The ultimate flagship with great specs

Microsoft had made changes in its current Surface Book in October 2016 to improve the battery backup, better graphics support, and a few performance-based improvements. There are great expectations for the design of the Surface Book 2 especially after Porsche Design revealed their own alternative for the device.

The Surface Book was designed to have better battery support and battery life compared to existing ones. For connectivity purposes, the flagship is said to feature a USB-C Type. The flagship is also expected to feature a Kaby Lake processor. Rumor was about Intel's Kaby Lake architecture, which includes the VP9 and HVEC 10-bit decode for better 4K video streaming.

The detachable screen helps you to make the resolution better if you find any problem with resolution.

The laptop is expected to initially cost from $1,499 (£1,449, AU$2,299). Digitimes indicated that it would cost more the Surface Pro and the Surface Laptop. Microsoft has not made any official announcement regarding the launch of Surface Book recently but the rumors about its specifications and features have created huge expectations among users.

Microsoft is striving hard to make its flagship laptop a real beast.

TechRadar wrote that "we would be ... keen to bank on a late 2017 launch to correlate with the Fall Creators Update." A lot of people are waiting with hope for Microsoft’s new launch of Surface Book 2.
