Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus smartphone had a commanding position in all the benchmarking charts, particularly last year in the Chinese software benchmarking tool, AnTuTu. Nonetheless, it appears the 7 Plus has finally met its match, for the reason that the HTC U11 handset manages to peak on the benchmark result for May 2017.
HTC U11 taking the number one spot on AnTuTu's benchmark
WCCF Tech recorded the AnTuTu's benchmark results and shows that HTC's Android smartphone scored more than 180 thousand, which allowed the mobile device to take the number one spot on the list.
In fact, HTC U 11 obtained 180, 079 points, crowning the device as the fastest smartphone to date. Although Apple iPhone 7 Plus’ dominance has been stolen by the Taiwanese tech giant’s flagship device, the results could possibly change once the specs of the handsets are updated.
Nonetheless, the result of AnTuTu on the top-performing smartphones for May 2017 is now official. The Cupertino based tech titan’s smartphone has given up its authority to the Taiwanese flagship smartphone as the top one. AnTuTu’s result happened despite the fact that Apple’s device packed with horsepower that no smartphone in the Android world had been able to best until now.
Meanwhile, as the device brings a lot of greatness to the table, XDA-Developers acknowledged their wrong impression about the U11.
HTC’s handset looks spectacular and is one of the best-feeling mobile devices to use. The HTC U11 comes along with great speakers, and the performance of the device is top notch, making the Galaxy S8 smartphone look like a mid-ranger.
In spite of that, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Xiaomi Mi6 smartphones fail to climb AnTuTu’s Benchmark rankings.
But, the iPhone 7 Plus is still on top of the S8, S8 Plus, as well as Xiaomi’s Mi6 in the rankings. While HTC U11 surpassed the latest two iPhones in UX processing and in a single-core experiment.
Smartphone’s specs
That being the case, the HTC U11 is available with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of internal storage, Android 7.1 Nougat, and 3,000mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity, the mobile device comes along with a 4G LTE, NFC, A-GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11, DLNA, Wi-Fi Hotspot and Type-C USB.
Aside from the HTC Edge Sense, IP67 water and dust resistance, the HTC U11 also boasts a 12MP primary shooter with 4K Video, f/1.7 Aperture, OIS and Dual-LED Flash. While its secondary snapper has a 16MP with a wide-angle lens and 1080p video.
