As mentioned previously, Samsung is expected to introduce its Galaxy Note 8 smartphone towards the end of August.
According to a report published by The Bell, the upcoming smartphone will be unveiled on August 23rd. Even though the company is expected to showcase its much-awaited flagship smartphone at an event on August 23rd, the units won’t hit the shelves until later in September at least. The smartphone is expected to fall in direct competition with Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8 as well. In fact, it has been confirmed that Samsung will definitely be introducing the flagship.

According to a report published by The Investor, a Samsung official who refused to be named confirmed that the South-Korean tech-giant is going to launch the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone sometime in August. Unfortunately, the firm did not mention any particular date as yet.
Apart from this, Samsung is speculated to include its Bixby digital voice assistant with the flagship smartphone as well. The firm launched the voice assistant with its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones earlier this year. It is among the biggest innovations made by the company to date. Samsung’s Bixby is expected to fall in direct competition with Apple’s Siri as well.
The firm is also further speculated to include a stylus S-Pen with its upcoming phablet smartphone as well.
Apart from this, most of the major specifications of the upcoming phablet will be quite similar to its recently-launched Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones. For instance, the former is expected to feature a completely bezel-less design as well.
However, the display size will be larger on the smartphone. The device is expected to pack a 6.2-inch display with 18: 5: 9 aspect ratio as well. Apart from this, the upcoming smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor too. On the storage front, the device is speculated to offer 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage as well.
