The latest Leaks about the upcoming device, Google Pixel 2 reveal that it will have a new shape with thinner bezels. Among the smartphones in the market that have embraced this kind of design are LG, G6, the Samsung Galaxy S8, and allegedly the iPhone 8. Here is what we know so far about the upcoming flagship device.

Latest concept and physical features

Serial leaker Benjamin Gaskin is at it again. In his most recent post on his Twitter account, Gaskin shared the latest concept of Google Pixel 2. The concept confirmed that it will have the same design as its predecessor with thin bezels.

Aside from this, there are other reports claiming the possible specs and features of the next device from Google. Among these are that the fingerprint reader will still be mounted at the back of the device with increased screen-to-body ratio. The location of the fingerprint scanner is just perfect near the center. Users will not have a difficult time unlocking their phone. This made the Pixel 2 aesthetically different from the previous one.

Meanwhile, GFXBench recorded several details of a handset listed as Pixel XL2.

It revealed the top of the line specifications. These include an 18:9 aspect ratio, 2560 x 1312, and a 5.6-inch display.

On the rear side is the dual camera set up. Compared to Pixel and Pixel XL, this new phone from Google is more appealing to buyers, considering its design and other features. Mobile phone users perhaps will appreciate the slight difference on the facade of the device as long as it delivers remarkable upgrades on its specs.

Specifications

Google Pixel 2 will feature a Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB RAM. It will run on Android O. This means that the phone will not require more memory because of RAM-related optimizations. The new device will have a 5.6-inch QHD with AMOLED panel covered with Gorilla Glass 5 for its protection. Its dual camera setup will feature a 12 MP with F/1.7 aperture.

When it comes to its camera, Pixel 2 is a bit more contemporary compared to its competitors in the mobile market because of it has four camera lenses. WCCFTech reports that the camera features of the upcoming Google device will be its key advantage from a marketing aspect. It is hoped that the search engine giant will include OIS on its camera for improved still image capturing while recording a video.

Google Pixel 2 is expected to be available on the market in the second half of the year.
