After launched the Android 7.0 Nougat update to its high-end mobile devices, Samsung is now rolling out the Nougat update to its mid-range phones. The tech giant is said to launch the Android 7.0 Nougat update to the #Galaxy A9 Pro smartphone.

Galaxy A9 Pro running the latest Android Nougat operating system

The Galaxy A9 Pro has been reportedly spotted on both Geekbench and GFXBench, running the latest Android Nougat operating system with the listings revealing the Android 7.0 Nougat. The most recent Nougat update will come along with several new features to the smartphone, such as bundled notification, multi-window options, improved battery optimization, night mode, and more.

The South Korean tech company is believed to incorporate custom features to the software, such as improved accessibility, Always On Display, lock screen personalization option, card dynamic adjustment of display size, new font option for titles and revamped calendar app.

Nonetheless, The Galaxy A9 Pro was launched on the Android 6.0.1 last year. The mobile device is available with a 16-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 16 GB primary camera, Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 32GB of internal storage. Also, the smartphone boasts an 8MP front facing camera, fingerprint scanner, and 5,000 mAh batteries.

Asus ZenFone 3 Max gets Nougat update

On the other hand, the Asus Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520TL) is getting the highly-anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat Update.

This is the company’s second ZenFone 3 Max variant that receives the Nougat update. The tech giant launched Android 7.1.1 update for its ZenFone 3 Max smartphone with model number ZC553KL.

The Android 7.0 update is aimed at the ZenFone 3 Max with model number ZC520TL, which is a slightly better version than the ZC553KL. The Taiwanese multinational computer company made it known that the Nougat update will be launched in stages through firmware over the air (FOTA), which means the system will take about one week to complete the auto push.

Nonetheless, if a ZenFone 3 Max user is not willing to wait so long for the update to arrive on their device, the user can head to Settings, About, System Update, and then try to upgrade the mobile device manually.

The Max users are advised to have a good Wi-Fi network connection before downloading the update, and make sure the handset will have at least 50 percent of battery life while installing the update. However, once the update is installed, users can enjoy the updates’ new UX and various new features.
