The LG G6 was introduced earlier this year and if the latest leaked images are to be believed then the company may have a smaller LG G6 mini in the pipeline. The original LG G6, which was launched during the Mobile World Congress 2017 and released in March. It sports a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen with a display resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels.
Rumors suggest that smartphone will sport a slightly smaller 5.4-inch screen, doing justice to the moniker “mini.” The leaked images of the LG G6 mini seem legit. However, as LG has not officially announced the phone readers should take the renders and the existence of the phone with a pinch of salt.
What do the leaked images reveal?
Based on the leaked images, the mini version will have the same design as its sibling but a smaller form factor. The display of the mobile phone is expected to have a screen-to-body ratio of less than 80 percent and a display aspect ratio of 18:9 just like the bigger variant. The leaked image shows that the LG G6 mini will have a horizontal dual-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor at the back like the bigger model.

The 2017 flagship from the comes running on a quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor, clocked at 2.3 Ghz and 4GB of RAM. The handset comes with 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 2TB with a microSD card.
The LG G6 packs in a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie snapper. The phone comes with 3,300 mAh battery. The LG offering comes running on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It is likely that the smaller smartphone from the company would have whittled down specs.

The flagship LG handset is available in the U.S.
via all major carriers and retailers. The unlocked version of the phone is available for about $700. Smartphone enthusiasts will hope that the mini handset from the company will be lighter on the pocket.
