The 2017 International Challenge April has been announced along with all information necessary to enter the online event. The next round of battles for “Pokémon Sun and Moon” will take place in late April, and participants will be given two exceptional Mega Stones. Along with this good news, the next Global Mission is also in the pipeline and more gifts are to be given out, although its objectives are yet to be announced.

Battle Competition details

The Pokémon Company will kick off the next battle on April 28 and will end April 30.

VGC 2017 rules are reportedly going to be adhered to for the Double Battle event, which is part of this year’s International Challenge Competition. Various Pokémon from the Alola Region are to be accommodated, except for Cosmoem, Cosmog, Lunala, Magearna, Necrozma, Solgaleo and Zygarde.

Mega Stones are not to be used in the competition, but its players are to receive free Blazikenite and Sceptilite Mega Stones as gifts. Blazikenite allows Blaziken to Mega Evolve in battles, while Sceptilite enables Sceptile’s Mega Evolved form. Those who are interested can start registering as early as April 19 until it closes on April 27.

‘Sun and Moon’ Global Mission

On April 10, the challenge of hatching over 200,000 Pokémon Eggs awaits players.

The fifth Global Mission in “Pokémon Sun and Moon” has players waiting for 2,000 FC (success) and 200 FC (failure). More rewards are in store for those with Global Link accounts who will be getting 4,000 FC and 400 FC for success and failure respectively. To those who managed to hatch three or more Pokémon Eggs, a Rare Candy is waiting.

If everyone gets to go over the original goal of 200,000 and make it to 400,000, all players get to have a Love Ball.

In related news, qualifying players who took part in the “Pokémon Sun and Moon” Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble event can already redeem the Steelixite and Pidgeotite Mega Stones, as promised by The Pokémon Company. The gifts are up for grabs until April 27.
