Nebraska football fans might be getting a bit sick of the Wandale Robinson soap opera at this point. At the same time, if it turns out that the all-purpose back decides to change his commitment from Kentucky to the Huskers, there will be more than a few Cornhusker fans that are quite happy about the way the soap opera has turned out. That switch seemed unlikely just a month ago when he committed to the Wildcats. It was thought to be a pretty solid commitment considering he was committing to his home state. Now recruiting experts are thinking it seems he will be changing his school colors from blue to red when signing day rolls around on December 19.
Wandale Robinson's ever-shifting idea on his favorite school
The running back, who finished the regular season with over 2,000 total yards committed to Kentucky on November 1. That decision came shortly after rumors began surfacing he had changed his mind after originally appearing to be a Nebraska football lean. The switchover was so surprising for some that they believed there might have been something a bit shady going down.

If something shady did go down, it doesn't explain why the Husker coaching staff continued to go after Wandale Robinson. It appears the fact that they continued the recruiting efforts after the commitment has paid off.
It might even be paying off big time. The Huskers' target also recently sent out a couple of tweets that seem to have hinted at the fact that he was starting to rethink his decision.
Nebraska football gets the nod
On Tuesday night, recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong gave the Cornhuskers a bit of a boost. He put in a crystal ball with 247Sports predicting Wandale Robinson is going to be changing his commitment.
Wiltfong believes he will eventually be a member of the 2019 class for Nebraska. It should be pointed out that Wiltfong had predicted the running back was going to be a Husker the first time around as well. He did also report that he was hearing there was a change to the Wildcats right before the announcement.
Timing might be everything for Robinson and Nebraska
Considering all the back and forth that has been going on in this recruiting story, the Huskers might hope the talented back will hold off a bit to announce anything. The early signing period begins on December 19. The Nebraska football team might be hoping Wandale Robinson just signs with them on that day and doesn't announce a decommit so they don't have to try and hold on in the 11th hour.
