Week 7 of the 2018 NFL schedule will get underway this evening when the Denver Broncos travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. It is safe to say that both of these teams have underachieved so far this season, however, a win tonight for either side could go a long way as we near the halfway point of the 2018 season schedule.

Rams look to remain perfect

Week 7 has a ton of marquee matchups including New England at Chicago, Detroit at Miami, the Carolina Panthers facing the Philadelphia Eagles and the New Orleans Saints squaring off against the Baltimore Ravens.

One other game that is a bit intriguing slates the Los Angeles Rams against the San Francisco 49ers. On paper, it seems to be a mismatch. The Rams should win by 21 or more, right? Well, not so fast.

Trap games hurt every NFL team at some point of the season and this may be one for LA. Yes, San Francisco is 0-3 since quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was lost for the season with an ACL injury, but this team is playing well right now behind C. J. Beathard.

The Rams Wire reports that San Francisco has the worst turnover differential in the league and they are at the bottom of the pack in takeaways in 2018 with just three. Yet they should have - and could have won every game that Jimmy G. has missed.

The Niners lost by two to the Chargers, then fell by 10 against Arizona before blowing a 10 point lead in the fourth quarter at Green Bay on Monday night football.

Yes, San Francisco isn’t winning many games thus far in 2018, but they are doing well for what they have to work with and should put up a good fight against the Rams this weekend.
