Last week, the Ravens' defense topped the list of the 10 best fantasy defenses. That turned out to be an excellent prediction, as the Buffalo Bills managed to score just three points against Baltimore's elite defense. This week brings a whole new slate of matchups and a new group of top fantasy defenses.

1. LA Rams D/ST

The Arizona Cardinals were a complete disaster in Week 1 against the Washington Redskins and things won't get any easier against the Rams on the road. The Rams held the Raiders to just 13 points and scored 13 fantasy points on the road in Week 1.

Now the Rams are double-digit favorites and should be the top fantasy defense in Week 2.

2. LA Chargers D/ST

The Buffalo Bills' entire team looked inept in Week 1 against the Ravens. They do get to play at home in Week 2, but head coach Sean McDermott has not yet committed to a starting quarterback. No matter who starts, the Chargers will be a great play in Week 2.

3. Chicago Bears D/ST

For one half, the Chicago Bears' defense looked unstoppable against the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers did eventually return and lead the Packers to a shocking comeback victory, but that didn't stop the Bears' defense from scoring 13 fantasy points. Now Chicago gets to play against a Seahawks team that can't seem to figure out how to protect their quarterback.

4. Denver Broncos D/ST

It didn't even seem like the Oakland Raiders were trying to stretch the field against the Rams, as Carr quickly got the ball out of his hands on almost every play. The Raiders will have to do something similar against an elite Broncos pass rush on the road.

5. Houston Texans D/ST

It doesn't seem likely that Marcus Mariota will start at quarterback for the Titans in Week 2, making the Texans an elite fantasy defense.

Even against Tom Brady and the Patriots in Week 1, the Texans managed to score seven fantasy points, so expect similar results against a struggling Titans offense.

6. Philadelphia Eagles D/ST

Did anybody see Ryan Fitzpatrick's five touchdown game on the road against the Saints coming? Owners who started the Saints' defense were burned for negative nine fantasy points.

Don't let that discourage you from starting an elite Eagles defense that forces opposing offenses to commit a lot of mistakes.

7. New York Jets D/ST

Lost in the blowout of the Detroit Lions is the fact that the Jets appear to have an excellent defense. They have smart, good players in the secondary and a really good pass rush. In Week 2, they get to play at home against a Miami offense that made a lot of mistakes against the Titans in Week 1.

8. New Orleans Saints D/ST

Do you dare start them again? The Saints' defense allowed Ryan Fitzpatrick to score 48 points last week at home, resulting in a negative nine-point fantasy game. In Week 2, the Saints will get to play at home against a Browns offense that struggled to move the ball against the Steelers.

Don't be scared off by last week. The Saints are a top 10 defense for Week 2.

9. Atlanta Falcons D/ST

The Panthers might have beaten the Cowboys in Week 1, but it certainly wasn't due to their potent offense. Atlanta's defense will have plenty of chances to get to Cam Newton, who was sacked three times in the matchup with the Cowboys.

10. Minnesota Vikings D/ST

Even if Aaron Rodgers plays, the Vikings' defense is good enough to make the top 10 on this list playing at home. They likely won't score 18 fantasy points like last week, but the Vikings are a safe defense to play in Week 2.
