LeBron James is headed to the Eastern Conference Finals after a shocking sweep of the top-rated Toronto Raptors. Not only do the Cleveland Cavaliers have a chance to make it to the NBA Finals for the fourth straight season, but it could be the eighth consecutive trip for a LeBron James' led team to the NBA Finals. That is amazing, despite the chance that James only won three NBA Championships in his previous eight appearances in the NBA Finals.
The final results notwithstanding, there is no question that LeBron makes any team he plays better and gives any team he is on a chance to win the NBA Championship. Can the same be said about Kevin Durant?
Kyle Kuzma talks LeBron James effect on Cavs
When the 2017-18 NBA season comes to an end, most experts believe that LeBron James will opt out of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers and move on. The number one spot to land LeBron is the Los Angeles Lakers, where James hopes to finally solidify his legacy on one of the greatest franchises in NBA history.
Lakers' star Kyle Kuzma was on Undisputed and was talking with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe about his Lakers team and then the conversation headed around to LeBron James.
When Sharpe pointed out that adding LeBron and Paul George will blow up the young team that looks so promising right now.
Kyle Kuzma said it was the "nature of the beast" and he will do what it takes to win no matter what the Los Angeles Lakers do. Sharpe than asked Kuzma the big question that a lot of players debate -- LeBron James or Kevin Durant. In his answer, Kuzma said, "LeBron, easy."
Kevin Durant vs. LeBron James
Kevin Durant and LeBron James have played in the NBA Finals twice. in the first series, the Miami Heat beat the Oklahoma City Thunder and in the second series, the Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Thunder were on the cusp of winning but were young. Then, Durant realized it was too hard to win without a super team surrounding him and went to Golden State to make the road to a championship easier.
Kyle Kuzma asked Skip Bayless -- if you moved Kevin Durant to the Cleveland Cavaliers, would it make them a better or worse team? Kuzma did say that he is not campaigning for LeBron James because he doesn't want to get fined for tampering. However, while KD is an improved defender, Kuzma said that LeBron is able to carry his team while KD has a lot of stars around him to allow him not to worry about the things that James worries about.
