With the NFL Draft complete, the Giants and other teams have been signing undrafted players as well as deciding to bring in others for a tryout.
Here are the undrafted players that have been announced to sign or be brought in for a tryout with the Giants. Before these players are written off, remember Victor Cruz was brought in as an Undrafted Free Agent prior to having much success with the team.
Offense
- Stephen Baggett (TE) - East Carolina
Baggett caught 11 passes in seven games last year for 105 yards and two touchdowns. In four years, he caught 23 balls for 234 yards.
- Evan Brown (C) - SMU
Brown was a four-year starter at SMU, two of which came as a guard and two as a center.
- Jawill Davis (WR) - Bethune-Cookman
In ten games last year, Davis ended with 36 catches for 475 yards and three touchdowns. Over his collegiate career, he had 106 receptions for 1,692 yards and ten touchdowns.
- Nick Gates (OT) - Nebraska
Gates started 35 games in three years for Nebraska before declaring for the NFL Draft after his junior year.
He was honorable mention All-Big Ten in both 2016 and 2017.
- Davon Grayson (WR) - East Carolina
In 2017, Grayson compiled stats of 59 catches for 886 yards and six touchdowns. In his four seasons at East Carolina, he finished with 135 receptions for 1,767 yards and 13 touchdowns.
- Robert Martin (RB) - Rutgers (invited to rookie mini-camp)
Martin rushed for 452 yards on 100 carries (4.5 Yards Per Carry) and three touchdowns in 2017. Altogether in four years, he toted the ball 449 times for 2,274 yards (5.1 yards per carry) and 18 scores.
- Thomas Sirk (QB) - East Carolina
Sirk was a starter at Duke in 2015 before transferring and becoming East Carolina’s starter last year. In 11 games, he completed 132 of 238 (55.5 percent) passes for 1,655 yards, nine touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
In his career, he went 393-679 (57.9 percent) for 4,346 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions.
Defense
- Sean Chandler (S) - Temple
Chandler was a four-year starter at Temple. Last year, he finished with 79 tackles, three interceptions, and a forced fumble. For his career, he had 265 tackles with three sacks, ten interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), and four forced fumbles.
- Aaron Davis (CB) - Georgia
Despite being a walk-on, Davis started 45 games for Georgia. In 2017, he recorded 43 tackles as well as 1.5 sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble. He ended his career in college with 184 tackles, four sacks, five interceptions, and three forced fumbles.
- Tae Davis (LB) - UT-Chattanooga
Davis led UT-Chattanooga’s defense last year with 74 tackles.
He also ended the year with a sack and a forced fumble.
- Dajaun Drennon (DE) - North Carolina (invited to rookie mini-camp)
Drennon played four years at North Carolina and finished with 33 tackles and 0.5 sacks last year. He ended his career with 125 tackles and five sacks in 40 games.
- Grant Haley (CB) - Penn State
A four-year player at Penn State, Haley finished last year with 40 tackles, two sacks, and two interceptions. In his career, he recorded 139 tackles with two sacks and five interceptions.
- Malachi Hoskins (DE) - Albany (invited to rookie mini-camp)
Hoskins was named to the First Team All-Colonial Athletic Association in 2017 and Second Team in 2016. Last season, he ended up with 53 tackles, five sacks, and four forced fumbles.
He had 17 sacks in his career with Albany.
- Ryan Moeller (S) - Colorado (invited to rookie mini-camp)
In ten games last season, Moeller had 58 tackles and over four seasons (34 games), he finished with 181 tackles, one interception, and three forced fumbles.
