Little Caesars is giving away free pizza on Monday! Yes, we are talking an absolutely free no strings attached lunch. Now that I have your attention, if you are still contemplating what to eat for lunch this afternoon, Little Caesars has a free giveaway that is going to make millions of folks head out for a pizza filled lunch. Will you be one of them?

Why are they giving away free pizza?

Back on March 16 when the 2018 NCAA tournament began, the mega pizza chain corporation posted a Tweet titled “If Crazy Happens.” The Tweet indicated that Little Caesars Pizza Stations across the country would offer Free lunch combos at participating stores nationwide if a No.

16 seed beat a No. 1 in the annual NCAA college basketball tournament.

No worries for Little Caesars, right? I mean, after all, a No. 16 seed has never beat a No. 1, ever! Well surprise, surprise, it finally happened!

Now fans of the famous $5 combo have the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC) to thank for Monday’s free lunch feast. According to an Omaha.com report, while millions of fans had their NCAA tournament brackets busted across the country when the unknown team from Maryland shocked No.

1 seed Virginia 74-54, there was a silver lining - well that is as long as you aren’t a fan of UVA. Now it is time for fans to reap the benefits.

How to cash in

If you are interested in getting in on the free pizza deal today, it is simple. All you have to do is show up at any participating Little Caesars between 11:30 PM and 1:00 PM local time and you will receive one free lunch combo.

The deal consists of a 4-piece DEEP! DEEP! Pizza along with a 20 oz. Pepsi Cola product. Not a bad deal for free!

Now there are rules for this lunch offer. According to the Little Caesars official giveaway page, there is a limit of one lunch per family. You also must place your order in the store, which means you can't phone in from work and tell them you are on your way.

Consumers have between 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM to place their order. If you place your order after 1:00 PM even if you were already in line before 1:00 PM the offer is not valid, and the last thing any of us want to do is waste an entire lunch hour and walk out empty-handed. Just like hose last second buzzer beaters in the NCAA Tournament, you only have so long to respond.

After the impossible finally happened, a No. 16 seed beating a No. 1, you have to wonder if this contest will ever be offered again. Don't forget, tonight the Michigan Wolverines will take on the Villanova Wildcats to determine this season's college basketball champion.
