The New York giants had a busy Monday signing three new players as well as re-signing one of their own. The player who will rejoin the team is defensive end Kerry Wynn. The 27-year-old defensive end played 15 games (3 starts) for the Giants last year and finished with 19 tackles and one sack.

Here is a brief look at the three new free agents the team signed on Monday, one of which will reunite with his former (now also current) defensive coordinator.

B. W. Webb, CB

The Giants agreed to a one-year deal with cornerback B. W. Webb. He was a fourth-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys out of William & Mary in 2013.

The 28-year-old did not appear in a game last year. He was waived by the Chicago Bears prior to the season opener and signed with the Cleveland Browns in late December. He was released by Cleveland last week.

For his career, Webb has appeared in 49 games and made nine starts (seven coming with the Saints in 2016). He has made 68 tackles, intercepted two passes, and deflected 14 passes (11 in 2016).

Cody Latimer, WR

Latimer announced on Monday afternoon that he had ageeed to a deal to play for the Giants.

The wide receiver, who turns 26 on August 10, was a second round pick in 2014 by the Denver Broncos.

After a dominant junior season at Indiana where he finished with 72 catches for 1,096 yards and nine touchdowns, Latimer decided to forgo his senior year to enter the pros.

The 6-3 Latimer has yet to live up to the standards expected of him since entering the league. He put up his best numbers with Denver last season and they still only added up to 19 receptions for 287 yards and two touchdowns. In his first three seasons, he combined for just 16 catches for 158 yards and one touchdown.

Josh Mauro, DE

It was announced by the Giants early on Monday evening that the team had agreed to terms with Mauro.

The 27-year old defensive end played collegiately at Stanford but went undrafted in 2014.

After being cut by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mauro signed with the Arizona Cardinals in November of 2014 where he played through last season. He made seven starts for Arizona last year and 13 in 2016. In 47 career games (26 starts), he has 75 tackles, two sacks, and two fumbles forced.

Mauro becomes the second former Cardinals defender to join the Giants this offseason after the team previously signed linebacker Kareem Martin. They reunite with the Giants new defensive coordinator James Bettcher who served in the same role with Arizona from 2015-17.
