Far from her attitude in 2012, supermodel Gisele Bundchen had a different reaction to the 41-33 loss suffered by her husband, quarterback Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots to the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday’s Super Bowl LII. According to Dan Wetzel of Yahoo! Sports, Bundchen was gracious in defeat, congratulating every Eagles player that she ran into. Wetzel said the Eagles players greeted by Bundchen looked starstruck.

Gisele’s attitude was far from the antics that she showed following the Patriots’ 21-17 loss to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI, where she blamed New England’s receivers for their failure to catch her husband’s passes. "My husband cannot f__king throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time,” Bundchen was heard saying after the game, referring to the failure of Wes Welker, Deion Branch, and Aaron Hernandez to catch crucial passes from Brady. Welker committed the biggest blunder of all as he dropped a pivotal fourth-quarter pass that could have put the Patriots deep into the Giants territory.

However, it was all behind now and Gisele has certainly learned to be gracious in defeat.

Bundchen has nothing to be ashamed of as her husband played a heck of a game, throwing for 505 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. However, Brady fumbled the ball in the final minutes of the game. Despite his failure to win his sixth Super Bowl ring, Brady is expected to return to the Patriots next season, together with coach Bill Belichick. However, they are expected meet sometime next week to iron out the issues that hounded them this season.

Belichick blames himself for loss

After the game, Belichick said there’s no one to blame but himself for the loss. “In the end, we just couldn’t quite make enough plays, and that was all on me,” said Belichick, adding that he’s very proud of the way the Patriots competed.

Belichick made several questionable decisions, including the benching of their top cornerback Malcolm Butler. Without Butler, Eagles quarterback Nick Foles tallied over 300 passing yards with three touchdown passes and one touchdown reception on a trick play. Belichick gave credit to Eagles coach Doug Pederson, his staff and the players for doing an outstanding job. “They played a competitive game,” said Belichick. Earlier, former Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner blamed Belichick for the loss, saying his decision to bench Butler cost New England the game.
