Dallas Cowboys players are getting frustrated about the decision of their coaching staff amid their three-game losing streak, according to NFL Network Insider’s Ian Rapoport. During Sunday’s NFL GameDay Morning, Rapoport revealed that there is growing frustration in the locker room about head coach Jason Garrett and coordinators Rod Marinelli and Scott Linehan. According to Rapoport, the players are frustrated about the coaches’ lack of adjustments in the past two weeks.

Also, Rapoport said the players are frustrated about how simple the Cowboys plays are, that teams are anticipating them before it even happened on the field. In the Cowboys' 28-6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, Thursday Rapoport said one person told him that Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers was actually calling out the Cowboys blitzes before they happened on the field. The loss dropped the Cowboys to 5-6 this season, in danger of missing the postseason.

QB Prescott struggling for Cowboys

During their losing streak, the Cowboys were outscored by opponents, 92 to 22. In that span, quarterback Dak Prescott did not throw any touchdown pass and committed eight turnovers, including five interceptions.

Last season, Prescott has committed just eight turnovers. The Cowboys are also playing without the injured left tackle Tyron Smith and linebacker Sean Lee while sophomore running back Ezekiel Elliott has been suspended for six games. Prescott, for his part, said the team needs to find a way to get out of their current funk right now, not just individually, but collectively. Without Elliott, the team’s offense has been struggling, and reserve running backs Alfred Morris and Rod Smith are having a hard time filling the void left by last season’s leading rusher. Before he was suspended, Elliott has carried the ball 191 times for 783 yards and seven touchdowns and caught 19 passes for 210 yards and two scores.

Garrett’s job not on the line

Despite their losing streak, Cowboys team owner/general manager Jerry Jones has given Garrett and the coaching staff the vote of confidence, saying they are still the right men for the job. Jones admitted that he was shaken by the team’s current struggles, but he believes that the Cowboys have enough talent to weather the storm and still make it to the playoffs. A victory over the Washington Redskins on Thursday will provide immediate relief for the Cowboys.
