The Cleveland Cavaliers are on a four-game losing slide and have won just once in their past six outings. Cleveland suffered its most recent defeat Wednesday (November 1) as it bowed down to the Indiana Pacers, 124-107. Following another blowout defeat, Cavaliers superstar LeBron James provided an analysis of his performance and pointed out the most significant mistake he committed.
Versus the Indiana Pacers, LeBron James led the way for the Cleveland Cavaliers as he tallied a game-high 33 points. James stuffed the stat sheet as he also registered six rebounds, 11 assists, two steals, and a block. However, those numbers were blemished by the eight turnovers he recorded.
In a report by the Associated Press, James spoke about his turnovers against the Pacers. According to the Cavaliers superstar, those were "way too many." James added, "I've been in the three or four range, but when you double that, that's not a good ingredient for your team to be successful."
Helping King James
Aside from LeBron James, three other Cleveland Cavaliers players stood out in the blowout loss at the Quicken Loans Arena.
The recently returning Derrick Rose was the second-best scorer for the Cavaliers as he chipped in 19 points. Veteran big man Jeff Green was an offensive spark off the bench as he contributed 15.
Similar to LeBron James, Kevin Love had a double-double for the Cavaliers. Love had 13 points and 13 rebounds, which came with three assists and one rejection. The only problem with Love in the contest was his shooting. He went 4-of-12 from the field, including 2-of-6 from long distance.
Worst training camp
In other Cleveland Cavaliers news, before falling to the Indiana Pacers, LeBron James revealed that this year's training camp was the worst he had in his illustrious NBA career. James was out for the majority of it due to a left ankle sprain.
LeBron James said the health issue prevented him from doing what he wanted to accomplish during the summer. The injury limited the three-time NBA champion in the preseason as well as he only saw action in two games for the Cavaliers.
Next game
LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, who currently hold a 3-5 record, have an opportunity to arrest their losing streak on November 3 when they go on a road trip to the capital. The Cavs are scheduled to take on the Washington Wizards next. The Wizards are coming off a 122-116 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
