The odds to win Super Bowl 52 seem to be changing quicker than the stock market. Following a crazy Week 6 of NFL action, several teams have increased their odds to win the big game next February as they look to be the real deal. For a handful of others, including the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, and Atlanta Falcons, things look a lot worse heading into Week 7 than they did just two weeks ago.

Rodgers injury severe blow for Packers

One thing that could give Green Bay Packers fans sleepless nights is the thought of Aaron Rodgers suffering a major injury.

Unfortunately, this nightmare has come true. NFL.com reported that Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone in the first quarter of Sunday's 23-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

The injury seems to be pretty severe at the moment as several outlets are reporting that there is a "chance" the two-time NFL Most Valuable Player could miss the rest of the season. The Packers, who were listed at +500 heading into Week 6, have fallen to +900.

Vegas oddsmakers probably won’t make Green Bay much bigger than that over the next week or two since Rodgers return is still up in the air. Rodgers sustained the same type injury back in 2013. He was believed to be out for the season back then, however, he returned in time to help the Packers make the postseason.

The Kansas City Chiefs have replaced the Pacers as the No. 2 team on the Super Bowl odds board at +650.

Eagles rise, Pats still team to beat

Are the Philadelphia Eagles for real? With a 5-1 record after six weeks of play, they sure look like they are! Carson Wentz and the Eagles proved that they mean business as they won a big road game in Carolina last Monday night.

Don’t overlook the Eagles. They are steady on offense and defense and so far they are arguably the best team in the league.

Philadelphia jumped up from +900 to +650 this week in the latest odds to win the 2018 title.

The New England Patriots are still the favorites to win it all in 2018. New England once again holds steady at +450 to be crowned back-to-back champions.

The Pats defense leaves little to be desired so far in 2017, but the offense has been in high gear of late. After losing to Kansas City on opening night, New England has quietly won four out of its last five games.

The teams who fell the most this week in the latest chase to win the big game were the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, and Atlanta Falcons. Detroit is now listed at +4000, down from +3300, while the Cowboys have dropped from +1500 just10 days ago to +2000.

The defending NFC champion Atlanta Falcons are now at a fat +2500 following a disappointing loss at home to the Miami Dolphins. Atlanta started the season 3-0 but have lost their last two games. Next week they face the Patriots in a Super Bowl 51 rematch.
