The new orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins hooked up for an early morning NFL game from London on Sunday. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, their offense didn't seem to show up for the game, as the Saints dominated and won by 20-0. Among the stars of the game were Drew Brees and Michael Thomas. Today's game started with a scoreless first quarter before New Orleans finally got on board in the second quarter with a field goal.
That was all there was for the fans in London to see as the Saints took a 3-0 lead into the half. They'd added a touchdown in the third quarter on a three-yard touchdown throw from Drew Brees to Michael Thomas. New Orleans added 10 more points in the final quarter thanks to another Will Lutz field goal and a 12-yard TD pass from Brees to Alvin Kamara.
For the New Orleans Saints, Drew Brees finished the game with a 29-for-41 performance that resulted in 268 yards and two touchdowns thrown. Michael Thomas racked up 89 yards and a touchdown receiving on eight catches, while Kamara had 10 receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown. Mark Ingram led the rushing attack with 14 carries for 45 yards while Adrian Peterson had just four carries for four yards in the game.
On the losing side, it was a rough outing for QB Jay Cutler. He was 20-for-28 with 164 yards passing, an interception, and was also sacked four times for a loss of 36 yards. Deviant Parker had six catches for 69 yards and Jarvis Landry had six catches for 40 yards. On the ground, Jay Ajayi had 12 carries for 46 yards.
Miami had the ball for a total of 25 minutes and 32 seconds in the game but was unable to score today.
They had just 11 first downs and were 1-for-8 on third down conversions. When all was said and done, the New Orleans Saints had achieved 347 yards of total offense and held the Dolphins to under 200.

The Miami Dolphins fall to 1-2 on the season with today's loss. They'll have a chance to bounce back on next Sunday when they take on the Tennessee Titans at 1 p.m.

For the New Orleans Saints, today's win marks their second-straight after losing their first two games. They're now 2-2 overall and third in the NFC South behind the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers.
