We are back again to watch the ever-entertaining Premier League after the International break.
The quality of matches to watch this weekend is a no-miss for Soccer fans, one can expect a ton of movements up and down the table in this matchday week.
Saturday's early kickoff would be a cracker as Liverpool set to host the league leaders, Manchester United at Anfield - a game ranked as the top match in the Premier League this weekend.
Premier league games for week 8
Liverpool vs Manchester United
Liverpool has proved to be a force against their opponents when they are in front of their fans, despite their recent poor run of form, they still remain undefeated in 28 of their last 30 home matches in the Premier League. Can United prove a force and break this streak?
United have been banging in the goals this season, they have won six out of seven games played this season in the Premier League. Will Liverpool spoil this unbeaten run of Mourinho's men?
Injury concerns:
Before the International break, United's midfielder, Fellaini was the talk of the web after he scored a brace against C.
Palace and ensured that United stay on the same point with their city neighbors, but, unfortunately, he picked up a knee injury during the international break and will be sidelined for three weeks. With Paul Pogba still out with a hamstring injury and Michael Carrick a doubt, Jose Mourinho is short of options in central midfield.
For the home side, Sadio Mane is out for six weeks with a hamstring injury sustained during the international break, Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana, Adam Bogan and Nathaniel Clyne are still injured, few changes are expected to Jurgen Klopp's usual starting XI against United on Saturday.
Manchester City vs Stoke City
The Cityzens welcome Stoke to Etihad on Saturday as they hope to keep their position as the league leaders.
Manchester City edged past the league champions, Chelsea by a lone goal from Kelvin De Bryne to go top of the Premier League before the International break despite missing the services of their 'hit-striker', Sergio Aguero who broke his ribs in a car accident.
Man City have kept a clean sheet in seven of their last eight home matches against Stoke in all competitions and have not experienced a loss against Stoke in 18 of their last 20 meetings in all competitions.
Stoke City, on the other hand, have been in abysmal form, they have failed to win in 10 of their last 11 away matches in the Premier League. I don't see them doing any harm to this City side, though they might perform magic as they did against United.
Stoke ended a run of five matches without a win before the international break, scoring only once in their last six trips to the Etihad. Another bad day at the office appears in the offing for the Potters this weekend.
Watford vs Arsenal
Watford sits in 8th position in the Premier League table but they are just one point outside the top 4 teams having lost only one out of seven games this season.
The Gunners are in poor form going away from home, they are yet to score in any away game this season, they are still searching for their first away league win. However, Arsenal has scored at least 2 goals in their last 5 away matches against Watford in all competitions.
