After another week of football action, NFL analyst Elliot Harrison released the week 6 Power Rankings from the 6th to the 12th spot. The New England Patriots are now back in the top ten of the power rankings after defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Thursday. The defense made this one possible for New England after making key stops in the game for the first time this season.

After wide receiver Julian Edelman went out in due to an injury during their preseason game against the Detroit Lions, quarterback Tom Brady got another weapon in the offense back with wide receiver Danny Amendola.

Amendola missed the week two game against the New Orleans Saints.

6. Detroit Lions (3-2)

The Detroit Lions lost to the Carolina Panthers 27-24. Quarterback Matthew Stafford threw two touchdowns while completing 23 out of 35 passes for 229 yards.

7. Denver Broncos (3-1)

The Denver Broncos are in their bye week and will be facing the New York Giants who are still yet to win.

8. New England Patriots (3-2)

Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady completed 30 out of his 40 pass attempts while throwing one touchdown and one interception as the New England Patriots win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 19-14. Patriots' safety Devin McCourty was among the defensive leaders in week five of the NFL regular season with 11 total tackles.

Kicker Stephen Gostkowski also made all of his four field goal attempts while converting one extra point.

9. Washington Redskins (2-2)

The Washington Redskins had a bye week and will be facing the struggling San Francisco 49ers in week six of the NFL regular season.

10. Seattle Seahawks (3-2)

The Seattle Seahawks managed to shut down Jared Goff and the rest of the Los Angeles Rams. The Seahawks defeated the Rams 16-10.

Quarterback Russell Wilson threw one touchdown and one interception while completing 24 out of 37 passes for 198 yards.

Kicker Blair Walsh scored ten points; Walsh made all three of his field goal attempts while converting one extra point.

11. Los Angeles Rams (3-2)

The red-hot Los Angeles Rams fall to the Seattle Seahawks 16-10.

Quarterback Jared Goff completed 22 out of his 47 pass attempts for 288 yards; Goff was unable to score a touchdown while throwing two interceptions. Wide receiver Tavon Austin rushed one touchdown for the Los Angeles Rams.

12. Buffalo Bills (3-2)

Bills' quarterback Tyrod Taylor threw one touchdown and one interception while completing 20 out of 37 passes for 166 yards as the Buffalo Bills lose to the Cincinnati Bengals 20-16. Kicker Stephen Hauschka scored ten points after making all three of his field goal attempts and converting one extra point.
