After another week of football action, NFL analyst Elliot Harrison released the week 6 Power Rankings from the 1st to the 5th spot. The Kansas City Chiefs are still the best team in football after five weeks, as they are still undefeated. The Philadelphia Eagles have also been one of the most consistent teams in the AFC. Fletcher Cox, Philadelphia's best defensive player, is still out for two and a half weeks and the Eagles are still winning. Also, Carson Wentz continues to blow people away with his amazing performances at the quarterback position.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (5-0)

Even though Kansas City's defense did not perform up to par in the second half against the Texans, as they allowed quarterback DeShaun Watson to score several touchdowns. That said, the offense was able to carry the load and made plays time and time again.

Quarterback Alex Smith, who is now on top of the Most Valuable Player conversation, threw three touchdowns while completing 29 out of 37 passes for 324 yards. Smith is among the top passing leaders in week five. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill was also able to return one for Kansas City. While running back Kareem Hunt rushed for 107 yards on 29 carries.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans 42-34.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (4-1)

Eagles' quarterback Carson Wentz made everybody involved in their game against the Arizona Cardinals, he made passes to eight different receivers in the first half alone while LeGarrette Blount continued to do his thing.

Eagles' Quarterback Carson Wentz completed 21 out of his 30 pass attempts for 304 yards, Wentz also threw four touchdowns and one interception as the Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Arizona Cardinals 34-7.

3. Green Bay Packers (4-1)

The Green Bay Packers were able to come out with a 35-31 win after coming back in the fourth quarter against the Dallas Cowboys. Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdowns while completing 19 out of 29 passes for 221 yards.

Linebacker Blake Martinez was among the top defensive leaders in week five with 12 total tackles.

Running back Aaron Jones also gained 125 yards on 19 carries while rushing one touchdown for the Packers.

4. Atlanta Falcons (3-1)

The Atlanta Falcons are in a bye week which is good for them after losing too many key guys to injury. The Falcons will be facing the Miami Dolphins in week six of the 2017 NFL regular season.

5. Carolina Panthers (4-1)

Quarterback Cam Newton has played well in past few weeks, which shows how good the coaching staff is doing. After getting blown out by the New Orleans Saints, the Panthers went to New England and get a win and then come back against a very consistent Detroit Lions on the road.

The Panthers' defense has also found their footing, they held down the Detroit Lions to ten points until the last five minutes of the game.

Quarterback Cam Newton led in this week's passing yards with 355 yards after he completed 26 out of his 33 attempts, Newton also threw three touchdowns and was sacked three times. Tight end Ed Dickson exploded for 175 yards on five receptions as the Carolina Panthers defeat the Detroit Lions 27-24.
