On October 20, 20 NBA teams hit the hard court and battled it out for the 2017-2018 NBA regular season. The NBA featured some interesting matchups across the board including, Cleveland Cavaliers going up against the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics against the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Golden State Warriors versus the New Orleans Pelicans. Some notable players also had great game performances like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Vucevic, Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Lonzo Ball, and Devin Booker.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Milwaukee Bucks
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 116-97.
LeBron James led the Cavs with 24 points, five rebounds, and eight assists while Giannis Antetokounmpo tallied 34 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists for the Bucks.
Atlanta Hawks vs. Charlotte Hornets
The Atlanta Hawks lost to the Charlotte Hornets with a score of 109-91. Dennis Schroder produced 25 points and five assists for the Hawks and Hornets' Kemba Walker recorded 26 points and nine assists.
Portland Trailblazers vs. Indiana Pacers
The Portland Trailblazers won against the Indiana Pacers 114-96. CJ McCollum led Portland with 28 points and seven rebounds and TJ Leaf led the Pacers with 17 points and four rebounds.
Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Kyrie Irving's 21 points, six rebounds, and four assists were more than enough to help the Boston Celtics win their first game against the 76ers 102-92.
76ers' JJ Redick scored 19 points to go along with his four assists.
Detroit Piston vs. Washington Wizards
The Detroit Pistons lost in a close 115-111 match against the Washington Wizards. Pistons' Reggie Jackson had 21 points and five assists while Otto Porter Jr. of the Wizards had 28 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.
Orlando Magic vs. Brooklyn Nets
Nikola Vucevic's 41 points and 12 rebounds were not to lift the Orlando Magic against the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets beat the Magic 126-121 with DeMarre Carroll tallying 17 points and eight rebounds.
Utah Jazz vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
The Utah Jazz lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 100-97. Jazz's Ricky Rubio produced 19 points and ten assists while Twolves' Karl-Anthony Towns recorded 20 points and ten rebounds
Sacramento Kings vs. Dallas Mavericks
The Kings defeated the Mavericks 93-88.
George Hill led the Kings with 21 points and five rebounds while Harrison Barnes tallied 24 points and four rebounds for Dallas.
Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans
The Warriors won against the Pelicans 128-120. Golden State's Klay Thompson had 31 points in seven out of 12 three-point shooting and Anthony Davis of the Pelicans had 35 points, 17 rebounds, and five assists.
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Phoenix Suns
The Suns are still winless after they lost to the Lakers 132-130. Lonzo Ball almost had a triple-double with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists for the Lakers while Devin Booker was also two assists short of a triple-double with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists.
