NBA.com has reported that the Utah Jazz defeated the Phoenix Suns with the score 112-101. Alex Len and Troy Daniels both scored 18 points apiece but it still was not enough for the Suns to get the win. Rodney Hood and Alec Burks scored a game-high 19 points while Rudy Gobert grabbed 12 rebounds to help the Jazz. With the departure of Gordon Hayward, the Utah Jazz will have a hard time staying relevant in the west, especially with how tough the west is this upcoming season.

Alex Len plays solid game

Alex Len played a decent game the other day against the Utah Jazz.

He contributed 18 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks in 32 minutes of gameplay. He shot 71.4 percent from the field making five of his seven shot attempts and made eight of his 10 free throw shots. The Phoenix Suns are still rebuilding, this will result in Alex Len getting decent playing time this upcoming season.

Marquese Chriss gets four blocks

Marquese Chriss showed how athletic and how good he is at blocking shots against the Utah Jazz. He recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and four blocks. Unfortunately, he shot the ball poorly at 25 percent only making two of his eight field goal attempts and missing four of his five three-point shots. Marquese Chriss still has a lot to improve in his game but he has shown how good he is at blocking shots.

Josh Jackson continues to shine

Josh Jackson played a great game against the Utah Jazz. He almost recorded a double-double with 11 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal. He shot the ball very well making five of his nine field goal attempts along with one three-pointer. Josh Jackson will have lots of playing time this upcoming season and the Phoenix fans can only hope that he and Devin Booker can eventually make the Suns a playoff team in the near future.

Burks and Hood showcases offensive skills

Rodney Hood and Alec Burks led the Utah Jazz in points with 19 apiece. With the departure of Gordon Hayward, someone has to step up and shoulder the offensive void Gordon left. Rodney Hood seems to be ready to take that challenge as he contributed 19 points, three rebounds, one assist, and two steals against the Phoenix Suns.

He shot the ball very well making seven of his 12 field goal attempts and hitting all of his three-pointers.

Alec Burks also stepped up offensively against the Phoenix Suns. He also contributed 19 points to go along with six rebounds, one assist, and two steals. He shot 66.7 percent from the field making eight of his 12 field goal attempts and making three of his four three-pointers.
