NBA.com has reported that the San Antonio Spurs have defeated the Sacramento Kings with the score 113-93. Danny Green got hot from behind the arc garnering a game-high of 20 points. Along with Danny Green, Patty Mills also scored 15 points to help the Spurs get the win. Willey Cauley Stein led the Sacramento Kings in both rebounds and points but it was not enough for them to get the win.

Willie Cauley Stein shines for the Kings

Despite the loss, Willie Cauley Stein played a solid game against the San Antonio Spurs. Cauley Stein contributed 14 points and nine rebounds while shooting 58.3 percent from the field making seven of his 12 field goal attempts.

The Sacramento Kings decided to go on a full rebuild after they traded away DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans last February. Cauley Stein will have plenty of minutes to work with this upcoming season to improve and show how talented he already is.

De'Aaron Fox contributes solid game despite losing

De'Aaron Fox played a decent game against the San Antonio Spurs. Despite losing, Fox was able to contribute 12 points, two rebounds, six assists, and two steals. He made five of his 11 field goal attempts and made one three-pointer. De'Aaron Fox will get loads of playing time this upcoming season and the Sacramento Kings fans can only hope that he can blossom into a franchise player in the future.

Danny Green hits four three-pointers

Danny Green shot the lights out against the Sacramento Kings, making four of his seven three-pointers. He contributed 20 points, three rebounds, one steal, and one block. He shot 61.5 percent from the field making eight of his 13 field goal attempts. Danny Green will have to be more consistent with his shots especially with the west getting very tough this upcoming NBA season.

Lauvergne delivers despite only playing limited minutes

Joffrey Lauvergne only played eight minutes in their game against the Sacramento Kings but that did not stop him from putting up solid numbers. In eight minutes he was able to contribute seven points, ten rebounds, four assists, and one steal. He made all of his two field goal attempts and made three of his four free throw shots.

Lauvergne is in a great position to develop his game with him playing with one of the best organizations in the NBA, the San Antonio Spurs.

Patty Mills contributes 15 points

Patty Mills also had a decent game against the Sacramento Kings. He contributed 15 points, four rebounds, six assists, one step, and one block. He shot 54.5 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from beyond the arc. WIth Tony Parker still injured, Patty Mills will need to step up as their temporary starting point guard this upcoming NBA season.
