Jrue Holiday and DeMarcus Cousins also had a decent game with 19 and 22 points, respectively. Nikola Mirotic, Robin Lopez, Justin Holiday, Jerian Grant, Bobby Portis, and Denzel Valentine all scored in double figures, but it was not enough to overcome Davis and the Pelicans.

He shot 50 percent from the field making three of his six field goal attempts and made three of his four three-point shots. The Chicago Bulls will start their full rebuild mode after two all-star eras in Derrick Rose and with Jimmy Butler.

Anthony Davis destroyed in the Chicago Bulls last night. He scored a game-high 37 points to go along with 15 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block. He made seven of his 19 field goal attempts and made one three-pointer. What stood out in Davis' performance last night was him making 22 free throw shots in 23 attempts.
The Chicago Bulls could not do anything to stop Davis, even fouling him was not the answer. Anthony Davis continues to be one of the most dominant big men in the league, even with him now sharing the court with DeMarcus Cousins.
DeMarcus Cousins did a little bit of everything
It was not only Anthony Davis who put on a show, but DeMarcus Cousins also looked unstoppable in last night's game against the Chicago Bulls.
He contributed 22 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, and two blocks. He shot 42.1 percent from the field making eight of his 19 field goal attempts and making four of his five free throw attempts. If the New Orleans Pelicans can continue to play this good once the season begins, they are looking very scary. Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins will have a chance to become the most deadly big man duo the NBA has ever seen.
