With the NBA season starting a few weeks from now, the NBA preseason previews what is expected to happen this coming NBA regular season. On October 2, 2017, twelve NBA teams and two international teams hit the hard court and battled it out.

Guangzhou Long-Lions vs. Washington Wizards (1-0)

The absence of John Wall did not seem to affect the Washington Wizards as they dominated the visiting Guangzhou Long-Lions with a score of 126-96.

Tyler Hansbrough led all scorers with 29 points; he also led in rebounding with 11, while Kyle Fogg led with 11 assists.

Charlotte Hornets (0-1) vs. Boston Celtics (1-0)

Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward's debut as a member of the Boston Celtics was a success after the Celtics managed to defeat the Charlotte Hornets by a score of 94-82.

Hornets' Jeremy Lamb led all scorers with 17 points; Dwight Howard led in rebounding with 10, while Celtics' Jayson Tatum led with five assists.

Orlando Magic (0-1) vs. Memphis Grizzlies (1-0)

The Memphis Grizzlies managed to defeat the Orlando Magic 92-84. Memphis' All-Star center Marc Gasol did not play for the whole game.

Grizzlies' backup point guard Mario Chalmers led in scoring with 19 points, while teammate Brandan Wright led with eight rebounds and Magic's Evan Fournier led with five assists.

Milwaukee Bucks (0-1) vs. Dallas Mavericks (1-0)

After his father's passing, Bucks' All-Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was not able to play in their game against the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks managed to come out with a close win against the Bucks with a score of 106-104.

Milwaukee's guard Rashad Vaughn led all scorers with 20 points, while Greg Monroe led in rebounds with seven, and Kendall Marshall had ten assists to lead all players.

Sydney Kings vs. Utah Jazz (1-0)

Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert together with the rest of the Utah Jazz dominated in their game as they get a win against the Sydney Kings with a score of 108-84.

Sydney Kings' Perry Ellis scored 19 points to lead all scorers, while Utah's Rudy Gobert had ten rebounds, and teammate Joe Ingles dished out five assists.

San Antonio Spurs (0-1) vs. Sacramento Kings (1-0)

Kawhi Leonard's absence was instrumental as the Sacramento Kings upset the San Antonio Spurs 106-100.

Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge and Kings' Frank Mason III led all scorers with 17 points, while Spurs' Davis Bertans and Mason III both had six rebounds to lead all players, and Kings' George Hill led with five assists.

Denver Nuggets (2-0) vs. Los Angeles Lakers (0-2)

The Denver Nuggets continue to dominate the NBA preseason as they defeated the Los Angeles Lakers with a score of 113-107, after defeating the Golden State Warriors in their preseason opener.

Nuggets' Garry Harris led all scorers with 25 points, while Julius Randle led in rebounding with 10, and both Denver's Will Barton and Lakers' Caldwell-Pope had four assists to lead all players.
