It was Shoaib Malik who scored a quick 39 off 23 balls which helped the Pakistan to reach a score post 170. Ahmed Shehzad (43) and Babar Azam (45) too gave valuable contributions to their side. For the World XI, Thisara Perera and Samuel Badree took two wickets each, while Ben Cutting and Imran Tahir picked one wicket.

Chasing a decent total, World XI reached the winning shores with the loss of just three wickets.
South African batsman Hashim Amla led the World XI from the front and scored 72 runs off 55 balls. Thisara Perera shined with the bat too, and he scored a quick 47 off 19 deliveries.
In the third ODI, Hasan Ali who sat back on the bench due to back pain the second T20 game is expected to return, while the World XI will not be looking forward to shuffling the winning combination which played the previous game.
