Both teams are looking for successful seasons so they can make their way back to the playoffs. Tonight's game should be a good early measuring stick for which team may be on the right track. Here's the latest Chargers vs. Broncos game preview including matchup odds, game time, TV channels, and live streaming details.

NFL game preview

The Los Angeles Chargers are looking towards a new season after moving away from San Diego.

The Chargers finished at the bottom of the AFC West last season with a 5-11 record. They've still got star quarterback Phillip Rivers ready to lead the offense. The team also acquired Clemson standout receiver Mike Williams in the draft, but he's listed as out for this first game of the regular season.

The Denver Broncos will look to get a home win tonight at Mile High Stadium to start their season off right. Denver finished third in the AFC West last season, as their 9-7 record also had them on the outside of the playoffs. Young quarterback Trevor Siemian will be in charge of guiding the offense, with Paxton Lynch backing him up. The team also brought back former Denver quarterback Brock Osweiler who spent 2016 with the Houston Texans.

The Broncos will be without running back Devontae Booker and defensive end Jared Crick.

Denver is listed as three-point favorites on the spread and a -145 moneyline favorite tonight. The Chargers are +125 underdogs heading into this matchup. For the over/under points total, the latest number was 42 points for the complete game.

The Broncos hold an 8-2 record in terms of the last ten meetings between the two teams, with their most recent meeting coming back in November of last year. Denver grabbed a 27-19 win in that game.
