WWE NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn is considered the "WrestleMania of NXT," taking place each year on SummerSlam weekend in Brooklyn. This year's event was no different with some high-quality matches and the biggest stars in Wwe Nxt in action. It also included the debut of one of the most successful tag teams in Ring Of Honor history when ReDRagon showed up.

ReDRagon debuts in WWE NXT

The NXT tag team titles were on the line as Paul Ellering's Authors of Pain defended their belts against SAnitY in the second match on the card. It was a huge match as the Authors of Pain are giants and seemed unbeatable but SAnitY is comprised of four members, with Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe working as the team in the ring and both the giant Killian Dane and the scrappy female superstar Nikki Cross on the outside.

It was not a surprise to see the number's game with SAnitY overwhelm the size and power of the Authors of Pain. With Killian Dane, Nikki Cross and Akam all out of commission after crashing through a table at ringside, Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe double teamed Razar and pinned the big man to win the WWE NXT tag team belts. However, their celebration was short-lived.

Without any warning, or even any music signifying their arrival, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish, also known as ReDRagon, hit the ring and beat down everyone on both teams. The finished by hitting Eric Young with both Chasing the Dragon and Total Elimination before looking at the tag team titles and then leaving through the crowd.

Who is ReDRagon?

For the past few years, ReDRagon was dominant in the Ring of Honor tag team scene. Together, they are three-time Ring of Honor tag team champions. Only the Briscoe Brothers have held more titles (8), although the Young Bucks also won the titles three times. Their 672 days as champions is also second best to the Briscoe Brothers.

ReDRagon also held the IWGP Junior Heavyweight tag team titles twice. Most fans know the IWGP titles are part of New Japan where Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, and Shinsuke Nakamura held the company's biggest title in the past.

Separately, Bobby FIsh is a former Ring of Honor TV champion, holding that title for 194 days. Kyle O'Reilly is a former Ring of Honor world champion, winning the title from his old partner Adam Cole, someone else who has recently signed a deal with WWE NXT.

O'Reilly is also a former PWG world champion.

Both Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish had already made their debuts in WWE NXT, both losing to Aleister Black in single's matches. However, the appearance of ReDRagon at WWE NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn means that the tag team is back and they will likely be the next to challenge for the titles in NXT.
