Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram continues to strictly follow his diet as he has been working on gaining weight and getting stronger the whole offseason. The 6ft 9in second overall pick of the 2016 NBA draft had his weight listed at just 190lbs ahead of his rookie campaign. Since the team and the promising player have been working regularly on improving the 19-year-old's silky frame.

Ingram wasn't backing down of attacking the basket this past season but the lack of strength could have been seen at times as he just couldn't finish some plays at the rim.

Former Duke Blue Devil Ingram has given up on junk food and has been using BiPro Whey Protein Isolate as that helps his recovery process after hitting the gym.

"I’m eating healthier, getting more vegetables. I’ve been picking and choosing more, not eating as much junk food,” Ingram said, per BiPro USA Blog. “I’ve been getting my nutrition up and drinking more BiPro protein shakes every day as well.”

'Take in as much food as I can'

Ingram scored 26 points against the Clippers in his lone appearance during the 2017 NBA Las Vegas Summer League last July.

The offseason work done prior to the game showed that the rising star has already gotten better and stronger compared to the rookie year.

''I’m just trying to take in as much food as I can,” Ingram added. “I’m getting good fuel so I can stay healthy, enter the season strong and in great shape.”

Randle ready for the next season

Lakers forward Julius Randle claims he is in a great place physically as he awaits to kick off his fourth year in the NBA. The former Kentucky Wildcat is as eager as anyone to prove that he belongs in Hollywood as he will have his current contract expired at the end of the next season. Earlier this offseason.

The 58-year-old Lakers great told on Spectrum SportsNet that he wants from his players to be "in the best physical shapes of their lives" and that they "don't want anyone over seven, eight Percent Body Fat anymore."

'I'm excited'

Randle, who was clearly struggling to get his body in a great shape, hired popular Los Angeles based personal trainer Amoila Jamil Cesar to fix the issue. Since, the forward has gotten a shredded body, falling down to just six percent body fat.

"I feel great. My body feels like I’m in great shape, my legs, everything is coming together, so I’m excited, I’m ready to go…(I weigh) about 240, I was 243 last time, 6 percent body fat," Randle revealed on Spectrum SportsNet, per Trevor Lane of Lakers Nation.
