According to ESPN FC, Juventus FC have turned down Chelsea's $68.5m bid for Alex Sandro, with the Blues manager Antonio Conte set to shift focus elsewhere. The Premier League champions have already spent a total of $169m on Antonio Rudiger, Alvaro Morata, and Tiemoue Bakayoko, but are looking to strengthen their defensive line up ahead of the new Premier League campaign. Speaking to reporters, Allegri said: “Sandro is a Juventus Player, and he'll remain one, and on the likelihood of Sandro being prized away from Juve, I think it's impossible.” The Brazil international featured for the Italian champions at the Wembley Stadium during Juve's 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur FC last Saturday.
Ivan Perisic set to commit his future at Inter Milan
Ivan Perisic is close to extending his stay at Inter Milan by agreeing on a new contract, according to the Sun. The Italian giants are said to have offered Ivan Perisic a $7m per year deal in an attempt to “convince” the Croatia international to stay put at the San Siro. Manchester United Football Club has been tracking Perisic all summer as they bid to “sustain” an EPL title challenge this new season. However, Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has been “mooted” as a potential transfer alternative target despite the Wales international agent ruling out his client chances of leaving Real Madrid Football Club this summer window.
Southampton close in on Mario Lemina
Mario Lemina is close to joining Premier League club Southampton Football Club, according to the Guardian. It is suggested that Mario Lemina is expected to undergo a medical at Southampton this week. The Gabon international will finalize his move in the coming days after the Premier League outfit agreed a $21.1m transfer with Juventus. Although, The Saints are likely to face late competitions from the likes of Arsenal, Everton, and West Ham United, who've all been linked with a move for the Gabonese youngster.
