With the WWE "SummerSlam 2017" pay-per-view approaching rapidly, many fans are looking for early rumors and spoilers about the summer spectacle. A big spoiler may have recently been revealed due to the unveiling of the official poster for the event. It shows various superstars scattered around the poster, which could tip fans off about the results of an upcoming match. Here's the latest on which match may have been spoiled ahead of the WWE "SummerSlam" pay-per-view.

'SummerSlam' poster?

A photo of the 2017 WWE "SummerSlam" poster is making the rounds online.

It features the WWE "SummerSlam" logo plastered on it, along with the various superstars who will compete in high profile matches. That includes the four superstars already known for the Universal Championship Fatal 4-Way: current champ Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman.

Also featured on the poster are the four women's superstars competing in two separate matches for the "Raw" and "SmackDown Live" titles. One of the lower sides has Bayley and Alexa Bliss, while the other depicts Charlotte and Naomi. So far all of those matches are known when it comes to the upcoming PPV card. However, one group of superstars is intriguing. Keep in mind that "SummerSlam" spoilers may follow.

Match results revealed?

On the upcoming episode of WWE "SmackDown Live," there will be a huge "Dream Match" featuring Shinsuke Nakamura vs. John Cena. The two have never faced off inside the squared circle before. The winner of the match gets to go on to "SummerSlam" to face "The Modern Day Maharaja" for the WWE World Championship.

While fans are anticipating a classic match, the poster for "SummerSlam" could be pointing to a crazy finish. That's because the poster shows current champion Jinder Mahal, as well as John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura on it.

Could this mean a Triple Threat match is being planned for the pay-per-view?

A Shinsuke Nakamura vs. John Cena vs. Jinder Mahal for the title would be entertaining. It would certainly make for an exciting bout on the card which already features that big Fatal 4-Way for the top prize on "Raw."

Other possible matches

As it stands, all of the previously mentioned matches are what's known for the "SummerSlam" card. However, some other matches may be taking shape. For example, Bray Wyatt has continually attacked "The Demon King" Finn Balor. That seems like it's leading to a match between the two.

As for the WWE Intercontinental title, there have been some rumors that Kurt Angle's newfound son, Jason Jordan, will get the nod. So that means it will be Jordan challenging The Miz for the title.

The United States Championship went back to AJ Styles again after he lost it at "Battleground" to Kevin Owens. With Chris Jericho now back on "SmackDown Live," will he become part of that title picture?

Speaking of "SmackDown," there have also been rumor reports floating around with regards to Rusev. "The Bulgarian Brute" could wind up having a match against his boss Shane McMahon on the card, so stay tuned for that.

Another rumor for "Raw" has suggested that two-thirds of The Shield will be reunited again for a big match at "SummerSlam." That could mean that Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose join forces to take on the current WWE "Raw" tag team champs Sheamus and Cesaro.

All in all, it's looking like a pretty decent card is taking shape for WWE's upcoming event.
