A game series that has been absent from Nintendo consoles for months is making its return this year. 2K Games is set to launch “WWE 2K18” for the Nintendo Switch users. The release date is unconfirmed, but the press release says that it may arrive by September 2017. Before “WWE 2K18,” “WWE 13” was the last wrestling game to appear on a Nintendo console. Seth Rollins took to his Twitter yesterday to reveal that he would appear on this year’s cover.

“WWE 2K18” is an upcoming professional wrestling game in development by Visual Concepts and Yuke.

2K Sports will publish it for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It is the eighteenth installment in the “WWE” game series and serves as a follow-up to “WWE 2K17” (released in 2015).

The marketing of the game is underway since June 20, 2017. A report by Twin Finite reveals that 2K Sports has plans to launch the game this fall. On June 12, 2017, the studio released a teaser trailer showing Seth Rollins as the main character. The trailer, with the tagline "Be Like No One," also features Triple H. Dozens of game posters were uploaded on official Instagram on July 8 to create excitement among fans.

  • ‘Pro Wrestling’ – Released in 1991, “Pro Wrestling” is developed and published by Family Computer Disk System for the Nintendo consoles. As a player, you have to select a wrestler with unique characteristics. In the single model, you have to fight against CPU opponents. After winning the “VWA Title,” the second part of the gameplay begins.
  • ‘Tecmo World Wrestling’ – Released in 1994, “Tecmo World Wrestling” is a Nintendo Entertainment System game for two or three players. As a player, you have to control the movements of other players and defeat them in the ring. The best thing is that “Tecmo World Wrestling” contains more than twenty moves per character, by virtue of not having a dedicated grapple button.
