On Tuesday night, there's a stacked schedule for the WNBA as teams return to action after the All-Star Game. The Phoenix Mercury will visit the Atlanta Dream with several WNBA All-Star players featured. They'll include Phoenix star Diana Taurasi and Atlanta's Tiffany Hayes. Here's the latest Mercury vs. Dream game preview including Tv Channels, start time, game odds and how to watch the WNBA game live streaming online.
WNBA game preview
The Phoenix Mercury enter today's game having lost their last three games and are now at 11-9 overall. In addition, the team lost Brittney Griner to injury.
The league's top scorer this season is expected to be out for up to a month due to knee and ankle injuries. However, All-Star Diana Taurasi, the league's all-time leading scorer is still available for the team.
The Atlanta Dream are still looking to climb back to .500 and are currently 9-11. The team looked like they were going to grab a win at the expense of another team dealing with an injury, but the Washington Mystics pulled off a 21-point comeback to win the game 100-96 in overtime. Atlanta has now dropped three of their last four games but they hold a 6-3 record on their home court. All-Star players Tiffany Hayes and Layshia Clarendon will look to lead the way for their squad so they can pick up another home victory.
The odds makers currently have the Atlanta Dream as six-point favorites in tonight's matchup. On the moneyline, Atlanta is a -245 favorite, while Phoenix is a +205 to +220 underdog. The over/under points total is currently at 163 points for the complete game. Of note, Phoenix has been 8-2 against the Dream in their last 10 meetings.
The last time the two teams met, it was a five-point win over the Mercury on July 12th. Will the home team get some sweet revenge tonight?
