There has been a lot of speculation in the past year about the potential matchup between Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather and Conor ‘Notorious’ McGregor in the octagon or the ring. But all the fighting fans around the world were able to raise their hands in a moment of joy as the fight between the biggest name in boxing and the biggest name in MMA was officially announced on June 14th.

The sum of money that was at stake was not announced, but it was officially announced that the two would face off in a boxing ring on August 26th of this year in Las Vegas.

While a lot of the fans worldwide are excited to watch these two athletes throw hands in the ring, a lot of them are just as or even more excited to watch them face off in the press conference. Floyd and Conor have entertained many people in their time, not just in the ring or octagon, but behind the microphone. Trash talking is a huge part of their enigma’s, and their talking skills will be showcased once again very soon. Recently, the dates and locations for their press conferences during their world tour were released, and we have all the details you need to know.

Dates and locations have been announced

The Mayweather vs. McGregor world tour will officially kick off on July 11th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It will be the first time that Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have been in the same room as each other, and it should be a very entertaining meet up. It won’t be any ordinary press conference though, as it is reported to be a star-studded event that will feature a live performance and special guests.

The show certainly doesn’t end there though, the press tour will continue the very next day on Wednesday the 12th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. It will continue it’s day to day grind, embarking on a trip to Toronto for a press conference at the Air Canada Center on the 13th, then a trip to New York for a press conference at the Barclays Center will conclude the tour around the United States and Canada.

But people living in the United Kingdom will be glad to find out that the Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather press tour will show up in London on July 14th. The venue is still yet to be decided, but it should draw a large crowd.

It may be better than the fight

Although the main topic of conversation the past few months has been between the fighting and boxing skills these two men possess, it’s no secret that the most entertaining chapter of the book may come during the press conference. Conor and Floyd will do battle on the mic several times leading up to the fight in August, so not only will they embark on this world tour, but they will also be sitting down to answer questions prior to the fight at the weigh in’s and such.

Fans across the globe will be excited next week to watch the two biggest household names in combat sports right now face off in a place they are very successful in, and that’s in the press conferences.
