Both Spanish La Liga clubs Valencia and CF Sevilla are the latest club sides to join the chase for Everton, West Ham United, and Arsenal target Carlos Bacca. Elsewhere, Premier League champions Chelsea FC are poised to make a formal offer in the region of €60miliion to try to lure Serie A club SSC Napoli into selling their star defender Kalidou Koulibaly. Liverpool FC midfielder Emre Can is set to snub offers from Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus to sign a new bumper deal with the English giants. Here's a complete roundup of the latest transfer updates making the rounds:
Sevilla, Valencia leads chase for Carlos Bacca
The Italian forward could be heading for the exit door at AC Milan after the club finalized a transfer deal to bring Andre Silva from Portuguese side Porto CF.
However, it seems as if the chase for Carlos Bacca's signature is apparently hitting up, with both Spanish clubs Valencia and Sevilla in the running. Earlier on, there were three EPL clubs keeping close tabs on the forward but they now face strong competitions from Spain. The Colombia international joined the Serie A giants from Sevilla in 2015 and Sevilla are apparently considering bringing him back to the Spanish La Liga ahead of the new season.
CF Valencia is also on the look out for a high-profile striker and Carlos Bacca is top of the list of Potential transfer targets for the club. Carlos Bacca scored a total of thirteen goals for AC Milan last term and will certainly not be short of offers from top European club sides.
Chelsea launch fresh bid for Koulibaly
According to Daily Star, Kalidou Koulibaly has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea last term and SSC Napoli was apparently prompted to reject two different bids from the Premier League champions in order to keep hold of their star defender. The Senegalese international has enjoyed another fantastic season at the center of Napoli's backline and it seems Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is willing to launch a fresh offer to land the Senegalese defender.
However, the Blues are willing to set aside about €60million in order to lure the center-defender to Stamford Bridge.
The Serie A giants are ready to retain their key players but Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis could be enticed by Chelsea FC's latest big money advances for the defender. Kalidou Koulibaly racked-up thirty-eight appearances for the Italian Giants last term and has a running contract with the Naples club until the summer of 2021.
Emre Can agree to new Liverpool deal, snubs PSG and Juve
Emre Can's current contract is set to expire at the end of next season and there have been indications that the Germany international could be leaving the Merseyside club during the summer. Both Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus were keeping close tabs on the player's situation at Anfield and were launching bids to try to lure him away from the Reds, according to SB Nation. However, The 23-year old is now willing to commit his long term future at Anfield by agreeing a new bumper deal worth about €114,000 per-week. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp views Emre Can as an integral part of his immediate plans and the new four-year contract will come as a relief for the club.
Emre Can joined Liverpool FC from German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2014 and has apparently racked-up 129 starts for the Merseyside club over the past three years.
