The Buffalo Bills finished last season with a 7-9 record, but that didn't mean there weren't some great plays. Last season, LeSean McCoy and Tyrod Taylor both combined for some truly exciting moments as they both helped lead the best rushing attack in the NFL. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for Buffalo to make the playoffs. This season, Sean McDermott and the Bills offense hope to change that. If they are going to make the playoffs, the Bills will again need great performances from the four players who were rated the highest by Pro Football Focus.
1. Richie Incognito: 87.2
The Buffalo Bills offensive line had an excellent season last year, and Richie Incognito was a huge part of that. He was consistent and solid in pass blocking. Incognito was also a huge part of the reason why the Bills were able to lead the league in rushing. Bills fans watched his solid blocking all season long as LeSean McCoy gashed opposing defenses.
2. Tyrod Taylor: 84.6
Quarterback Tyrod Taylor produced some mixed reactions among Bills fans last season. On occasion, his performances were spectacular. His ability to escape pressure and run for long gains bailed the Bills offense out many times last year. However, Taylor struggled to ever come back from a deficit last year and relied heavily on his rushing ability.
In addition, Taylor fails to see the middle of the field, consistently missing an open Charles Clay all the time. Still, Pro Football Focus ranked him as the second best player on the Bills roster because of his low propensity for turnovers and ability to turn nothing into something.
3. LeSean McCoy: 81.6
How is it possible that LeSean is ranked below anybody after his performances last season?
He finished the year with 1,267 rushing yards and a whopping 13 touchdowns! He was electric, creating holes where none existed! McCoy was the biggest reason why the Bills led the league in total rushing yardage! And he comes in at this spot on the list? How could that be possible? According to Pro Football Focus, McCoy belongs here, but I definitely believe he is the best player on the current Bills roster.
4. Kyle Williams/Cordy Glenn: 82.7/82.8
In this spot, we have a tie between defensive tackle Kyle Williams and offensive tackle Cordy Glenn. Incognito wasn't the only elite offensive lineman on the Bills last season. Glenn was also a big part of the reason why the run game was so successful. On defense, veteran Kyle Williams was his usual self, being disruptive and creating problems for opposing offenses again. The Bills will likely be able to count on these two for even more consistent production in 2017.
