The new BIG3 League made its official debut on Sunday at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. League co-founder Ice Cube was on hand along with other stars there to witness the 3-on-3 format league in all of its glory. Four games featuring the league's eight teams took place on Sunday, with scores and results yielding several early winners. Unfortunately, nasty injuries also hit some of the more recognizable stars in the BIG3 league. Here are the latest BIG3 game results and highlights for the first week on the schedule.

BIG3 scores & results

In the league's first official game, former Seattle Sonics and Orlando Magic star Rashard Lewis had 27 points including a three-point play to lead the 3 Headed Monsters to a win over the Ghost Ballers.

The game also saw Jason "White Chocolate" Williams fall to the court in a scary moment and walk off with a leg injury.

The second game on the schedule saw the Power, coached by Clyde Drexler, win a close 62-58 game against the Tri State team. DeShawn Stevenson's three-pointer was the difference-maker in this exciting win. The win also included a highlight dunk from Jerome "Junkyard Dog" Williams to excite the fans.

Captain Corey Maggette suffered an injury during this contest, but reports later via USA Today said he was expected to be OK, as was Jason Williams.

That's good news for the league as one has to wonder how teams will get by if star players are hurt in a 3-on-3 format with a total of 40 players overall.

Allen Iverson is considered one of the big stars of his team, and his 3's Company squad won 61-51 over the Ball Hogs in the third game of the day. Andre Owens recorded a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds in the win.

Iverson went just 1-for-6 in his return to the basketball court, and later mentioned he won't be putting himself into the games for too often.

The finale of the first week's games saw the Trilogy with the biggest rout of the day. They took their game 60-45 over the Killer 3's with Al Harrington scoring 25 points to lead the way.

Stephen Jackson, who was known for his famous "blowing in the ear" incident with LeBron James had 17 for the losing side.
