Tuesday night brings the first game of the 2017 NBA Playoffs Western Conference semifinals matchup between the Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors. The two teams won their opening round series in much different fashion as the Warriors swept the Trail Blazers and the Jazz battled to defeat the Clippers in seven games. Now Utah gets a major test against the top team in their conference for a best-of-seven game series. Here's a look at the latest Jazz vs. Warriors matchup preview including odds, TV time, channel, and how to watch it live streaming.

Game 1 matchup

On Sunday afternoon, the Utah Jazz escaped from the Staples Center with a 104-91 victory over the Clippers in their deciding seventh game. Gordon Hayward finished with 26 points on 9-for-20 shooting, while Derrick Favors stepped in to help out due to Rudy Gobert being limited by his previous injury. Favors finished with a double-double, scoring 17 points and pulling down 10 boards. George Hill also finished with 17 points to go with five assists. The Jazz shot over 50 percent for the game and outrebounded the Clippers 46-38 in a big win.

The bad news for Utah tonight is that the team may be without Derrick Favors after his big performance on Sunday. The latest reports were that Favors sat out of practice on Monday with a sore back, leaving his status for tonight's game up in the air.

The Warriors will be without their coach Steve Kerr, who also has been dealing with back issues due to the back surgery he had several years ago.

While the Jazz needed the full series to eliminate Los Angeles, the Golden State Warriors made quick work of Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers. Stephen Curry has been getting it done for his team ever since Kevin Durant's injury weeks before the playoffs began.

Curry is currently listed as fourth overall in terms of all players for scoring average in the postseason at 29.8 points per game and is shooting 45 percent from the floor and 52.2 percent from beyond the three-point arc. Kevin Durant ranks at No. 21 with 21 points per game, although it's looking like Curry is showing why this was his team before KD arrived and why he is a former two-time NBA MVP.

As most fans might expect, Utah finds themselves as huge underdogs heading into tonight's Game 1 against the best team in the league, Golden State. The Warriors are -2500 on the moneyline with a point spread of 13.5-points in their favor. The Jazz are +1100 moneyline underdogs, while the over/under is at 206.5 points for the game. The Warriors are 41-37-1 against the spread as favorites and 21-19-1 ATS at home, while Utah is 8-15 ATS as underdogs or 19-21-1 ATS as the away team.
