Despite a losing effort on Saturday, Jewell Lloyd emerged as the top scorer so far in the WNBA. Lloyd put in 25 points for the day, on 10-for-18 shooting in 33 minutes on the court. She also hit two of the six three-point shots she took, grabbed four rebounds, dished out four assists, and recorded two steals. Her team shot 52 percent for the game, but it was their 23 turnovers that cost them the win. On Sunday, Sue Bird may return after sitting out Saturday's game to rest her knee but was listed as a reserve as of this report. 2016 WNBA ROY Breanna Stewart was listed as a question mark in terms of her status to be on the court today due to her knee issues.

The Indiana Fever were amongst playoff contenders last season with a record of 17-17 but lost their two preseason games.

One of those games saw them leading by 13 points against Dallas, only to end up collapsing in the end. The team will embark on their latest quest to make a deep postseason run without the help of Tamika Catchings who retired. However, WNBA All-Star veteran Candice Dupree makes her debut with the team in today's game, after coming over from the Phoenix Mercury.

Today's game odds have the home team favored. Seattle is 15-18 all-time against the Fever over the two teams' matchup history, but the Storm are also 11-5 against them at home.
