The WWE will bring fans the "Payback 2017" pay-per-view event to follow-up this month's exciting "WrestleMania 33." This latest event is considered a "Raw" exclusive PPV but will feature several stars from "SmackDown Live" also competing on the card. Among them will be Wwe World Champion Randy Orton and the WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens. Here's a look at the latest matches, as well as when the WWE "Payback" 2017 pay-per-view will be held with starting time for viewers.
WWE 'Payback' matches
A stacked card will make up this year's edition of "Payback" from start to finish.
Several championships will be contested on the pay-per-view. Alexa Bliss recently moved over to "Raw" and became the top contender for the women's title there. She'll take on current champion Bayley one-on-one.
Also, even though Kevin Owens moved to "SmackDown Live," he's still booked to defend the US title in a rematch against former champion Chris Jericho from "Raw." Jericho lost the title to Owens at "Mania," but if he wins it back, he'll also move over to "SmackDown Live" with his title.
WWE World Champion Randy Orton is scheduled to appear at the event in a "House of Horrors" match against Bray Wyatt. However, Wyatt won't be challenging for the title in this match, even though he lost it to Orton at "WrestleMania." Still, the overall stipulation of this brand new match has fans excited to see what it includes.
Also on this card, Roman Reigns will try to gain revenge on Braun Strowman. Fans saw Strowman put Reigns out of action after attacking him backstage to send him to the hospital. Reigns has been off "Raw" for several weeks but expect him back this week.
In other action on the card, Seth Rollins battles Samoa Joe and Neville puts his WWE Cruiserweight Title on the line against Austin Aries.
Also, Matt and Jeff Hardy will be back on pay-per-view again, this time to defend the tag team titles they won at "WrestleMania 33" in their return. Sheamus and Cesaro will be the team trying to take back the titles they once held.
