Aaron Hernandez is dead. The former New England Patriots tight end was found hanging in his jail cell early Wednesday morning. The 27-year-old former NFL star was in prison after being convicted in 2015 of murdering Odin Lloyd, the former fiance of his girlfriend's sister. The conviction came after it was revealed Lloyd was shot with the same kind of gun that Hernandez was proven to have possessed. Hernandez was serving a life sentence with no possibility of parole. Earlier in the week, Aaron had been back in court on separate murder charges, and was acquitted of those charges.
In a tragic turn of events, Hernandez was seen blowing a kiss to his 4-year-old daughter, who had been crying that she missed her father. The girl's mother, Shayanna Jenkins brought the girl to court so that she could see her dad. Sadly, not knowing it was the last time.
