On Sunday afternoon, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors look to snap a rare two-game losing streak. They'll visit Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden for a matchup of the league's top team right now and a struggling Eastern Conference opponent. With no Kevin Durant in the lineup can The Warriors prove they're capable of winning games? While the Knicks aren't the biggest measuring stick, this could give Golden State just what they need to turn things around after KD's recent injury. Here's the latest on the Warriors vs.

Knicks live stream and TV details for Sunday's NBA game.

Warriors' last two games

Golden State needs to figure things out while KD is missing from the lineup. The "Splash Brothers" teammates Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have been ice cold in their recent three-point shooting attempts but most fans and analysts don't expect it to last. The duo may be still adjusting to the absence of their superstar teammate, but they'll certainly need to improve from three-point land if they want to look similar to the Warriors of last season.

Golden State dropped the game against Washington after KD went out with an injury. They followed that one up by losing on the road at the Chicago Bulls. With those losses and San Antonio's recently win over New Orleans, it's putting the pressure on this team to maintain their top spot in the West.

The Warriors are still considered among the NBA Championship favorites to win it all in the postseason.

NY Knicks playoff push?

The New York Knicks are still being led by Carmelo Anthony with 23.3 points per game. As of this report, the team is 25-37 overall and 15-16 at home. That record has them sitting in the No. 11 spot in the Eastern Conference, and trailing the Detroit Pistons by at least five games for the final playoff spot.

Charlotte, Milwaukee, and Miami are all fighting for that spot above them.

New York has gone just 3-7 over their last 10 games. That includes their previous outing where they fell 105-102 to a Philadelphia 76ers team also on the outside of the playoff picture. The Knicks also were able to defeat that same Sixers team several games prior, albeit a one-point victory.

They'll have their hands full even with Golden State missing one of their biggest stars.
